Of course, this time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s can be magical, filled with an air of fresh opportunity and positive intention…but not for everyone.

Unfortunately, winter can be an especially difficult time for less fortunate citizens living without a home. There are an estimated 578,424 people experiencing homelessness on any given night in the United States, some of them in a chronic cycle of poverty and hardship that is difficult to escape.

YOU can help end that cycle and spread authentic season’s greetings by getting involved with organizations like Open Table Nashville, The Nashville Rescue Mission & Hands On Nashville, all part of a growing network of community-based outreach programs in the area. Make the holidays special for everyone this year by volunteering on behalf of our city’s neediest citizens.
